Dashcams are becoming an increasingly popular way of documenting the daily life of a driver, be it through cataloguing accidents on the internet, police chases, providing evidence of other crimes that take place or even through a vlogging channel. Dashcams are also becoming more and more affordable and, while there is the option to purchase separate dashcams for the front and rear of your vehicle, it is important to consider the option of purchasing a two-in-one front and rear dashcam, as these can be easier to set up than two separate dashcams. This blog will look at the best front and rear dash cams under $100 on the market.

Milerong Dash Cam Front and Rear

The front and rear dash cam, which is available for $50.99, comes with loop recording facility, motion detection, a parking monitor, g-sensor (which can be adjusted and is designed to automatically record any accidents) and a night vision sensor. There is also the added option of turning the screen off but continuing to record, if you find seeing the footage in your peripheral vision a distraction whilst driving. Buyers have been quick to praise the facilities of the front and rear dashcam and the ease of installing it, though some have stated that the reverse wire (connecting to the rear camera) can be fragile.

The front camera consists of a 170° wide angle, whilst the rear is a 130°, which is designed to eliminate any blind spots. As with the Milerong, this front and rear dashcam contains a g-sensor and provides a loop recording function (a seamless function that overwrites unlocked footage, rather than stopping when the memory card is full.) The camera, which is retailing at $69.95, has received positive reviews for the format in which it stores the files from each camera (as it stores and organises them separately). However, some customers have commented that the cameras do get very hot when in use.
